Good college, Terrible management. No events/sadhya in onam and no celebrations during Christmas. Late night events are only for christians(Jesus Youth) and Management students (Infloré). So students will organise events outside college in resorts. Great Location. Never hosts inter college events. Would have been the No.1 Engineering college in South Inda if management wasn’t toxic and traditional. Infrastructure is better than NITs and top institutions in india. Still support moral policing and sexism in 2025!! They try to sperate Boys and girls in Buses and class and try their best to get placements in IT companies where boys and girls have to work, collaborate, attend meetings, sit, travel, eat and do almost everything together! doesn’t make any sense to implement sexism and moral policing where students don’t care about the management. Awesome students too. I’ve seen a lot of street dogs in canteen and campus, they could have fix that. From my pov, the best private college in kerala. 1. Improve Industry Exposure and Placements – Invite top companies and create partnerships. To attract recruiters like NVIDIA, Google, and Qualcomm, students must be trained in DSA, not just basic academics. 2. Host National Level Events: This will attract visibility and collaboration opportunities. Right now, most people outside Kerala don’t even know such a college exists. Being No.1 in kerala won’t help attracting Companies like Samsung and Google, as they don’t have presence in Kerala. 3. Maintain an ideal faculty-to-student ratio for improving ranking, as it’s not even in top 50 colleges, nationally. 4. Encourage admissions from outside Kerala to create a national-level campus culture and improving Talent pool, as great Companies(like MAANG companies)won’t go to a college with only local talent pool. 5. Scae up intake: in top institutes like MIT, VIT, SRM & Manipal they have 3000-4000 students in aleach batch, so the top companies will show more interest in such colleges. Here, it was 800. 6. Improve visibility and branding outside Kerala 7. Partner with top tech companies for live projects, internships, and labs (like Cisco Networking Academy, AWS Cloud Lab, etc.) 8. Promote Publishing research papers, patents. 9. Improve these aspects for better national level ranking(instead of trying to become best in kerala, try national level): -Student success — placements, higher studies, median salary. -Diversity, gender balance, regional representation, social inclusion -Public perception — by peers, employers, and academia -Student Strength (SS) – total number of students (UG + PG) -Faculty-Student Ratio (FSR) – better if ≤ 1:15 -Faculty with Ph.D. (FQE) – % of faculty with doctoral degrees -Publications (PU) – number and quality of research papers -Footprint of Projects and Professional Practice (FPPP) – consultancy, research funding from government or industry -Regional Diversity (RD) – students from different states
