Every single time I go to Advanced Family Dental Care I have such a positive experience. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The office staff is great, the hygienists are very caring and gentle, and Dr. Raj is so talented. He has very high expectations for his work, so for this reason, my family members and myself have all been so pleased with the outcomes of the dental procedures we’ve received. Dr. Raj and his team are 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I highly recommend it.

I’m very impressed with how the staff here at Advanced Family Dental Care are very professional and caring. I liked that the dentist loved that I knew what a hijab was when I complimented her for wearing it. I especially love the facility’s taste in music. Plus, the office is very close to my house within driving distance, which is nice. I would love to come back here when I get the chance. I felt that my mouth was going on a spa trip when I was here, ha ha!

After being a loyal patient family for over 6 years, I am deeply disappointed by the pattern of unprofessional treatment my family has experienced, culminating in today's unacceptable encounter with my 10-year-old daughter that has left me seeking a new dentist for my children. In May 2025at my son's appointment, the receptionist interrupted the treatment to claim my insurance had expired. Despite my assurance that I had active coverage, she insisted the computer showed otherwise. While my son remained in the dental chair, she stood silently in the room after the dentist abruptly left. I was forced to look up insurance information on my phone to prove my coverage was active. She continued to argue until eventually leaving and returning to admit she had entered the insurance number incorrectly. Her brief apology was not acknowledged by the dentist, and the entire disruptive incident occurred in front of my child. Today September 17, 2025 I took my daughter in for a follow-up appointment to get two cavities filled. It began with the dentist questioned my daughter about who brought her to a previous appointment rather than addressing me directly as her mother. When I inquired about the relevance, I was told only legal guardians could bring children for treatment—a policy that should have been clarified during the previous visit, not during an active one. Despite my daughter having a documented history of needle anxiety from a previous cavity treatment at this practice, no accommodations or gentle approach were offered. The dentist immediately proceeded with numbing gel without acknowledging her obvious distress. When my daughter became upset about the injection, the dentist gave her an ultimatum: "open your mouth or be referred to an oral surgeon." This approach escalated rather than de-escalated the situation with my daughter becoming visibility upset and crying. Instead of using calming techniques, the dentist discussed surgical options and laughing gas, which further frightened my daughter. When I requested she stop discussing these options as they were increasing my child's distress, the dentist became defensive. When I provided constructive feedback about the need for culturally responsive practices and needle phobia support, the practice owner threatened to call police, despite my maintaining a professional tone throughout the interaction. These incidents reveal a concerning pattern of unprofessional behavior, poor staff training, and lack of accountability. My daughter left today's appointment traumatized, still requiring treatment for two cavities. As a family, we now face the stress of finding new providers, additional time off work and school, and rebuilding both children's confidence in dental care after these negative experiences. I will never recommend this place to families I know.
