Café Portrait

I met up with a friend today and we weren’t sure what to eat. While walking toward English Bay, we noticed a restaurant with a long line of people waiting. Since my friend had her dog with her, we stopped to take a look, and one of the servers came over and asked if it was a table for two. We hadn’t planned to eat there at first, but it looked lively and inviting, so we decided to give it a try. Because we had the dog, we sat at one of the outdoor seats by the entrance — it was a lovely spot with nice sunshine. The weather was perfect, and the food was great! I ordered the Turkish sausage with yogurt and asked for no spicy dressing. It tasted just right. The coffee was also surprisingly good. Inside, the place was beautifully decorated — you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m around English Bay! 🐶☕🍳 @@ Dog Friendly restaurant 🐶🐶

I chose this brunch café to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The food was fresh and delicious, with the avocado being especially impressive. The cappuccino tasted just like the ones I enjoyed in Europe, though the caffeine was a bit strong, so that’s something to keep in mind. The atmosphere made me feel as if I had traveled to Turkey, giving the place an exotic charm that really matched my style. It was a truly happy time, and the servers were incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this café to anyone looking for a special brunch experience.

very sweet service. we had to wait about 30 minutes in line to get a table, but they offered us some hot tea while waiting, which was really nice and helped warm us up a bit. the coffee was good, the food was okay, not mind-blowing but still nice. service was great and the atmosphere was just lovely. overall a really good spot for brunch
