I was excited to find a daycare for my high energy labrador puppy, however I experienced unprofessionalism and the owner is not reliable or trustworthy. After evaluating my dog and being told everything is ‘fine’, she later switched the prices for daycare, since my dog needed more attention/training (to double the price, per day) I was also sold a 3-session course valued at $280 for training, which I never received due to ongoing “incidents” and repeated cancellations on behalf of the owner. It’s very rare that I leave Google reviews, especially poor ones, but I think people should be aware especially if they have high energy dogs, this is not the place for them!

It has been over a month already since we commented and my gf gave a low review due to the lack of communication and professionalism. La bonne bête replied saying that they would contact us to solve this issue and refund us. It would also seem we are not the only ones with this issue as well. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone trying to bring their dog for training.

Avoid this business! My friend brought their dogs to them for training, they kept the dogs for 10 days. They took cash and offered no receipt or contract. When my friend called to check on the dogs there was no answer and when she asked for photos they made her wait for 2 days and when finally she got a photo she could see there was an injury on the dog's nose but they did not make any mention about it nor apologize. My friend was worried for the dogs but she kept them there anyway. When they picked up the dogs, they had infections in their ears, eyes, and paws, and bite marks on their bodies. The owners offered no explanation or apology. They were fed the wrong food even though my friend gave them a specific brand to use, and they lost the dog's harness and made no apology about this or offer to replace it. Since the return of the dogs there has been zero improvement in their behavior and the owners are ghosting her and not returning the calls. They have made no attempt to follow up or check on the dogs since. In preparation for a lawsuit, my friend has done some research on the owner and the employees and there seems to be some worrisome discrepancies. As far as I'm concerned, a business that takes cash without giving a receipt and that does not provide care or aftercare should be looked at with utmost vigilance. My friend has been totally disappointed and upset by this interaction.
