Awesome staff, all so friendly! You can tell they love their customers. Janalee, and Jonathan part of the service crew, are very down to earth and great to deal with. The sales team guys are also very friendly and great to chat with.
In November 2016, I bought a 2016 Dodge Journey Crossroad from Connell Dodge Chrysler. The sales team at the time was good to deal with. As I bought my SUV in the beginning of the winter, I also bought snow tires from the dealer. In the spring of 2017, I put on brand new all seasons that came with the car. These tires came with a tire warranty and were less than 2 months old of actual use. Getting a flat tire due to no misuse or negligence of my own, I contacted Connell and I was told by the service that the tire warranty was not in effect as it was my fault in getting a flat tire and that I should have taken preventative action in preventing a flat tire. How someone can take preventative action getting a flat tire in the middle of the highway in the dark is beyond me. So this is when I began to learn about “customer service” at Connell. Over the past four years now (starting in 2021), as my vehicle has started getting older (it still runs very well as I’ve kept up extremely good maintenance on it), the sales department has got to the point of harassing me with constant text messages and voicemails trying to entice me into checking out the new sales event in the hopes of selling me a new vehicle. On every single occasion of these text messages and voicemails, I have contacted Connell to tell them to stop sending me text and voices messages. I told them that when I’m good and ready, I’ll consider them when looking for a new vehicle. Despite my insistence for Connell to stop texting and/or voice mailing, they annoyingly continue to do so. This past Tuesday (October 21st 2025), I noticed that while backing up, my backup camera was inverted (flipped 180 degrees upside down). The camera was working properly the day before. With the exception of the camera picture being upside, it remains very clear and functioning as normal. I called around and was told by multiple reputable businesses that deal in backup cameras and other car electronics and all said that my camera would require a recalibration. I called Connell on the 21st and was told by Dustin that it “seemed very unusual” for the camera picture to be flipped exactly upside down. He booked me in for today (the 23rd of October), for a recalibration and gave me an estimated quote (I have witnesses of him telling me this quote) of $69 plus tax. I showed up at my scheduled appt time of 1015am, but was told that they were running late. Looking out the window in the waiting area for the service department, I saw the mechanic get into my car at 1045am. I had no problem with it being 30 minutes late. However… At 1110am, I was told by Dustin that my car was checked out. In that less than 25 minutes, apparently a scan report, a reset of ICS, a reconfiguration was performed, the car battery was disconnected and reconnected, and software was checked to be up to date. This all resulted in no change and my car would require a new camera. How all of this was done in less than 25 minutes is beyond me. I do know that when a car battery disconnect and reconnect is done, it totally resets different functions in the car, including car radio station presets. I knew as soon as I got in the car that I was being lied to by the service department as the radio presets were the same as before. No battery had been disconnected and reconnected. When I received the invoice at the service counter, I was very surprised that my bill was indeed not the $69 for a recalibration that I was told with witnesses two days prior to my appointment, but was actually $240.49. According to the invoice, a recalibration that I had specifically asked to be done had not been done at all. I did not ask for all of these additional tests to be done. Simply, the service department took it upon themselves to perform more than I wanted done. A simple recalibration and nothing more. When I asked how much a backup camera was ( I know that Dodge uses Mopar products), I was told by Dustin at the Service Department that the backup camera replacement was going to be $950 plus labour, bringing the cost to almost $1200.
First and last! Don't recommend buying from here. I'm pretty sure they hand delivered our paperwork to the bank. Very slow processing everything. Took it back for service (undercoating etc) & told them about a shake. They took way longer than they said, didnt cheack out the shake and left undercoating crap everywhere on our car. We won't return.
