The allure of this business is that they advertise “English speaking” clinicians and as someone that was nervous about going for dental tourism and not being able to communicate, I took the bait. I want to preface by saying everyone is very nice from the taxi driver to the dentists. However, the two stars is strictly based on my dental experience. The veneers - I got 20 top and bottom Zirconia veneers. When I smile, I can see the grey cementing substance through the teeth. It’s noticeable in pictures more than in person so I don’t feel confident with my smile knowing that’s there. Secondly, the process was SUPER STRESSFUL. I was there for 12 days total because I was getting fillings and implants as well. The first 6-7 days, we didn’t get very far. The veneer fitting happened 5 days before I was leaving for the states and the veneers were TWICE THE SIZE OF MY NATURAL TEETH. Straight horse teeth. The dentist and her assistant tried to convince me that they looked nice but I absolutely hated them. They looked terrible. They said it would be remade but then we went into a three day weekend which made me sick to my stomach in anticipation. Finally on the day before leaving for the States they placed on my veneers, implant work, crowns, everything. It was SO stressful to do this all at 8PM the night before a flight back. The veneers look better than my natural teeth but I can't say that I'm confident smiling with them. Crowns, root canals, and fillings - Absolutely terrible. I got a root canal on two molars. Typically, you need a crown to overlie the tooth but instead they placed a huge filling. I asked them why not a crown but they told me a filling would be enough. Sure enough, one broke within 1.5 months and the other within 8 months. An implant crown and a regular crown came off within 8 months as well. One after another. I had so much anxiety eating food. Just terrible. I am fortunate that I am now able to see a great dentist in the states who told me that the dental implants aren’t even screwed deep enough into the bone and that I shouldn’t have gotten a filling after a root canal. We are now working to undo a lot of those issues. In total 5 teeth came apart within 8 months. I’m not saying don’t get dental work in Colombia because I know that dental work is tragically expensive in the States. I’m simply telling you I do not recommend this place.

This place is absolutely awesome. I went alone from USA, was scared to death of the rumors of violence there, in Colombia. Two days before my departure my daughter had me convinced that if sounds to good to be true it is. Even my gut said don't go. But against my gut I went. The very best thing I could ever do for myself. I am a 59 yr old single woman. I would definitely go back myself and recommend this to anyone who needs dental work. Much better than USA price and beats any Mexico price that I had found. The hotel they put you up in is probably the best hotel I've stayed at. Breakfast included, no hotel has a breakfast like this place, you gotta give it a shot. I got composite veneers I'm including a photo of day before at hotel and a photo of right after.
