My experience with Good Samaritan has been an extremely good one! The medical team is professional, knowledgeable and Friendly, which is rare any more. The technicians go above and beyond to assist patients. One dental technician .stands out to me I have watched her interact with patients as well as my self and she is Outstanding! Ms. Rivers explains procedures thoroughly ,answers all questions and makes me feel comfortable and secure. Hats Off to her and the employees at Good Samaritan.

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at Good Samaritan health center in Atlanta, and I want to warn others about their lack of organization, misleading information, and unprofessional treatment of patients—especially those coming in for emergencies. A few days ago, I came in the morning for a dental emergency, and they told me I needed to return on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday before 7:45 AM to be seen. There was no mention that they only take two emergency patients per morning—just that I needed to be on time. So, today, I made sure to arrive before 7:45 AM, only to find that the doors weren’t even open at 7:45. I was the third person in line, but when I finally got inside, I was blindsided when they told me they could only take two emergency patients today—something they never mentioned before. Had I known this, I could have planned differently instead of wasting my time. Then, they told me that I might still get seen if I waited until 9:50 AM, depending on whether another patient showed up. I agreed to wait. I even paid the $20 deposit and filled out the required forms. At 9:48 AM, I went back inside and waited. 9:50 came. 9:57 came. 10:00 came. Still, no one called my name. After waiting even longer, I went up to the front desk to ask what was going on, and the staff rudely told me they had already called my name—but they must have done so before 9:50 while I was waiting outside in my car, even though they had specifically told me to come back at 9:50. They never told me there was a chance they’d call me before that time. If I was supposed to be there earlier, why wasn’t that communicated? Even worse, after I had already paid and waited for hours, the staff gave me an attitude and dismissed me as if it was my fault. The woman who was friendly before I paid suddenly became rude and unhelpful after they had my money. They refused to see me and told me to come back tomorrow—completely disregarding the excruciating pain I’m in. This was unacceptable. Their lack of communication, disorganization, and disregard for patients in pain is appalling. If you have a dental emergency, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. No one should be treated like this—especially not when they’re in pain and following all the instructions they were given. I will update my review after my visit tomorrow to share how the actual doctors and the rest of the staff treat patients here. Hopefully, the medical care is better than the front desk experience.

I had severe tooth pain for several weeks. It got to the point where I couldn’t sleep at night. I have insurance, but I had a hard time finding a doctor who a) accepted my policy and b) would give me immediate care, rather than charge me $500 for X-rays, a consultation, followed by a $1000 procedure. My wife called Good Samaritan and learned that we could join the walk-in line for affordable dental care. The doctor saw me immediately for an emergency dental procedure, and two hours later, extracted two teeth - one of which was largely infected. This truly was lifesaving, as the infection could have gone into my blood. The staff even read scripture and pray over the intercom. I can’t say enough amazing things about this practice - it’s an incredible blessing.
