IFIXIT North Port: Cell Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Game Consoles and More

I’m not sure if they have new owners or what has happened, but they used to be my go to to fix my phone screens I sent everybody I know here and I never had any issues. Last week I called in about getting the glass screen replaced on my iPad because it was cracked. I was told it was gonna be $275. I did not have the money at the time and continue to use my iPad to study on. Today I called up there again because I saved up the money to get my glass fixed and now it’s $380. They’re telling me it’s so cost so much because the part is so expensive online.. my first search online showed the part I need for $130… Quite a huge price difference. This is very disappointing you can buy them used online for way less than this price. Shame on them.

Yesterday, Jonas had assisted me with an issue "This item isn't available in your country" and several months ago it was Cory who had assisted me with a different issue. Their dedication to customer service is awesome & I've appreciated their utmost help with my issues. I know which "Ifixit" business I'll be visiting with phone problems in the future. Thanks guys, you rock!

I would not recommend. I brought my laptop over to fix some broken hinges in February. He fixed the hinges but broke my screen in the process. He promised to have this repaired on his dime since it was his mistake and I have been getting the run around until today 6/13/25. Now he’s at the point of just of just ignoring my calls, texts, or voicemails. I would’ve respected him more if he would have just told me from the beginning that he was not going to fix my screen rather than to string me along for several months.
