Very clean everyone gave me a pleasant smile. The young girl who took me back and took the x rays was very gentle and courteous. My hygienest was professional, efficient and lovely. The office manager, Linda was professional and explained the costs of the added procedures I need. Even telling me of the 0% intrest for 12 months credit card available if I needed to make payments. The dentist Dr. Sambucino is kind, gentle and not hard on the eyes. All in all my first visit for a cleaning and assessment of my dental issues was an agreeable experience. Thank you.
I am thankful for this dentist getting me in for a broken infected tooth in a timely manner and getting me the correct antibiotics before pulling the tooth but that’s where the good part of the review ends. He told me the tooth beside the one that was broken needed pulled as well as two other teeth needing a root canal to do bridge work. With needing to take the antibiotics for a week before getting the broken tooth pulled I had some time to think on all the dental work and thank god I did. In this time I sent an email with my medical insurance information and asked them to submit a claim for remaining work that dental wouldn’t cover. I was in a bad accident awhile back and have had major sinus and teeth problems since. They got back to me stating that there was no way that the tooth issues I was having were caused from my sinus damage and other issues I’ve had since the accident. I asked for a referral to an oral surgeon and they ghosted me knowing I needed to get the broken tooth out I opted to let them pull that tooth but get a second opinion on the two root canals and tooth extraction of the second tooth. They tried getting me to reschedule until I got my second opinion so they could pull both teeth at the same time. I tried explaining to them that any aggressive work I’ve had done since the accident doesn’t end well in my favor and regardless of the second opinion I would be getting them pulled one at a time and wanted to keep my appointment. Come the day of the appointment they had to reschedule to a later time which was mildly annoying with two kids under two but that was the least of my worries with them. When I got there I kept getting pressured into getting both teeth extracted. I’m so glad I was able to stand my ground and did not let them pull the second tooth. I got my second opinion last night. The tooth they wanted to pull can have the root canal fixed I got a recommendation to be sent to a specialist. The two teeth they wanted to do root canals on are perfectly fine besides for one small cavity. At the second opinion I got a full exam done and full x rays everything I need done will be a fraction of the cost that Lake Erie wanted to charge me for work I don’t even need done. I never had a fear of the dentist until mine retired and its dentists like this why the fear has developed. They all seemed really caring at the start. Then saw me as nothing but money in their pocket and when I refused the work until I got the infection cleared and a second opinion attitudes changed all the way around from the front desk to the dentist. Very disappointed that an experience in the beginning seemed so promising and it turned south very quickly.
Ive had alot of negative experiences with dentists in my lifetime. I needed an emergency service and they were phenomenal! They got me in quick, were so kind and non judgemental, and did the work I needed done that same day. Very happy!! Will highly recommend!
