Lionsheart Bookshop & Café

Fantastic independent cafe with friendly staff and great value for money. I've visited many times and they always cater for customers wherever possible. Ample seating inside and out and always have fresh water for passing dogs. Staff are friendly, helpful and always try to make everyone's visit a good one. Despite not being required to, they allow use of toilets in the adjoining hall when it's not in use for private bookings as the public ones are no longer open. They also have access to another building 30m away with toilets when the hall is in use. All in all a fantastic community cafe with great food, drinks and staff. They even give small children a squeaky duck on their first visit! Awesome.

Used to love it here and would always try to support independent coffee shops but went in today and no access to toilets, public o es are closed. I asked what we now do and the lady working there just shrugged her shoulders and said go to Waitrose so we did and ended up in Costa. Totally put me off. I support adults who need extra support and their not always able to wait to go that far to find a toilet. Sorry, but not going back.

Cute little cafe in Goldsworth Park. We ordered two hot chocolates, a panini, fish finger bap, and a scone. All the food was great, but the hot chocolates were a bit too bland, no sweet/choclatey flavour, they tasted like water. Staff were very friendly and the ambience is peaceful with a nice view of the park and lake. We would come back again to try other food and drink options.
