After various emails and phone calls, I was looking forward to them cleaning the flat for £398, end of tenancy clean, this is not what was advertised. Firstly, they were late and then they can't be reached via mobile. When I was called to inspect the flat, one of them kept playing with her phone while the other was more attentive to my questions. The flat itself is pretty empty and not dirty, I did it as a good beginning of my own home. The carpets weren't properly vacuumed, the bathrooms floors were showing marks on the floors etc, and you can still see spider webs at most corners! I had to point them out and climb on the chair to do some myself. I did warn them about the balcony and i wanted the area to be cleaned as much as possible. Messages weren't communicated and they only vacuumed the floor when I arrived. Overall this is NOT a good experience and I don't think i will recommend anyone. I'm very disappointed!
At the end of June, my flatmates and I paid £359 for an "end of tenancy clean". This is adverstised as a deep clean of everything in the flat, including appliances. According to a representative, the clean was supposed to take approximately 5 hours to complete with a team of two. Something very important to note: We booked this cleaning on the morning of the day we had to move out. We made this very clear to Happy House Cleaning Company and advised that the new tenants would be moving in from 2pm on this day. On the day of the cleaning, a team of four showed up. This was a mum, dad, and their two children. Neither the mum nor the dad were in any kind of uniform to indicate they were with the company. An hour and a half after we left the property to let them work, we got a call from the cleaners stating that the clean had been completed. On our return, we were rushed through the property and repeatedly told "everything is clean". We told the cleaner that we would have a look and let Happy House Cleaning if there were any issues. On closer inspection after the cleaners left, it became clear that they did not provide the service advertised. There were many areas with dirt, grime, and limescale left that could have been easily cleaned with a wipe. Certain areas were not even touched. We spoke to a representative at the Happy House Cleaning Company immediately following our discoveries and sent pictures and videos as advised (see some below). We were told by the representative that there would be no chance of our cleaners returning and the soonest they could get another set of cleaners out would be in a few days. This is even though we had made it very clear to the company that we could not accept a reclean as it was indeed our move out date and the new tenants would be entering the property from 2pm. We had to resort to buying wet wipes ourselves and cleaning what was not properly done. There were water stains on the showers, limescale leftover, dust and grime still on the floor and skirting boards, stains and scum inside the fridge. The list goes on. We spent a week messaging back and forth with Happy House Cleaning, requesting a full and then partial refund as the service provided was not what was advertised. They advised that, since we had bought wet wipes and cleaned the property ourselves following the cleaners' job and not allowed a reclean, we had violated the T&Cs. Therefore, no refund would be possible. In the end, we got a measley £30 refund as a "gesture of goodwill". I cannot state this strongly enough: do not use this company as they do not value customer care and do not provide the services promised to their clients.

Used Happy House for the flat I was leaving and new place I was moving to. They say that they will "leave the property in spotless condition" for end of tenancy cleans, but it was only by chance of me being at the flat briefly during the clean that I found out the cleaner was not planning on taking out any rubbish out and only did it when I really pushed. The property I moved into was left dusty and with visible cobwebs in several rooms. They offered to return or refund a measly £20 for a £200+ clean, but really this should be done the first time round.
