PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE SIGNING ANY CONTRACT! My advice is to stay clear of Peninsula as any new business who is starting out. From the sales pitch using fear to lock you into long term contracts that unbenounced can't be broken with out paying out the full term for the services that are basic cookie cutter HR advice at best. Any question I've had has been able to be answered by a simple google search or call into the labour board directly to get a more knowledgeable answer. After realizing that the sales people over sell the services that Peninsula offers I tried to cancel my 5 year contract only a hand full of months in (as I was paying nearly $400 monthly for essentially nothing of value to me or my business) to be told that I would have to pay over 20k to terminate my policy. This by the way is not outlined or explained in any contract that you sign. After speaking with reps on why I wanted to cancel my services as I had felt that the services did not live up to anything that was initially promised the only resolutions were to pay more for a premium service to most likely get more unfufilled promises. I honestly feel like Peninsula takes advantage of new businesses and really wish I had never delt with them as now we are paying a ridiculous amount a month for something that hasn't and will not benefit my business. In business transparency is key and that is not at all what was delivered from my dealings with Peninsula.

I have been in dental business management and HR for over 15 years. While I admit that HR issues is often not pleasant, I have to honestly say that Peninsula and their team is not going to help you. They are very inefficient, cookie cutter kind of support is what you get from them. every single time there is a new person, that you have to explain everything again, and worst of all they gave you WRONG advise. I was luck that we have very decent employee otherwise we could be in major problem. Avoid them, Pay a lawyer hourly and you will off with definitely better care and most likely will be less expensive.
