Rivermont Guardian Compounding Pharmacy (MedCare Drug Mart @ Rivermont Guardian)

I had a disappointing experience at this pharmacy .I went to this pharmacy to ask for prenatal vitamins, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I asked for help, the girl at the counter gave me attitude instead of assisting me politely. Rather than asking which specific prenatal I was looking for or giving me options, she just handed me one for 3 months’ use without any explanation or guidance. when i said, just need for month she gave a wired smile?? why?? its my right to decide i need it for 1 or more than that. she even didn’t ask me for how long i want to use it. Then, I asked for the one i used before, Before I could even finish my sentence, the girl at the counter cut me off and tried to push a 3-month supply of a different brand without asking about my preferences or needs. When I asked why I couldn’t get the one I asked for, she replied in a rude manner and said I wasn’t “supposed to” show a prescription for that. I honestly don’t understand why. Was it because the one I requested was more affordable than what she wanted to sell me? It’s really frustrating to be treated this way — especially in a healthcare setting. People who deal with customers, especially in pharmacies, should be trained to communicate respectfully and helpfully. Please don’t bring your attitude to work. Treat customers with kindness and never underestimate anyone.

The pharmacist was quick to respond to my inquiry and assisted me with my prescription promptly. He really understands how to work with compound prescriptions and was able to get the dosage correct after I had tried other pharmacies.
