My experience with tanguay was an absolute nightmare. We bought our tv there in 2023. About a year later, the bottom of the screen started showing some lightning problems, as well as overheating problems. We then proceeded trying to use the warranty. First, they told us we had to speak with LG which first told us they would simply replace the tv. All we had to do was send them a picture of the sticker behind the tv. Afterdenying they received the picture, claiming it wasn't the right sticker(which it wasn't). They ended up transfering us to a guy who didn't spoke french, and spoke english poorly to say the least who told us we would receive a store credit which was absolutely non-negociable. Disappointed beyond belief, we tried to choose another tv in store, only to be the victims of a seller who tried selling us a "protection plan" (which is absolutely not an extended warranty as the seller said). Claiming that, since we already used the warranty on our PREVIOUS tv, the BRAND NEW tv wouldn't be covered by any warranty( the seller was actually yelling into my ear to give me that piece of information). She also claimed we didn't have to call LG at all. At this point, we smelled their fishy scheme. So we called the "office de la protection du consommateur" who confirmed that they HAD to refund us, and the store credit thing was total b.s. They also told us that the claim that they couldn't offer any warranty on the new tv was also false, and they were also lawfully obligated to offer the same warranty since the product was brand new. We then spoke with a director who seemed very surprised by the seller's behavior, but couldn't offer us anything else. So, in the end, and after 5 months, we had a refund, and had to find e new tv elsewhere...

The service for deliveries is amazing! It was quick and easy to set-up. When the team noticed the smallest bump on our fridge door upon delivery, we were promptly offered a 50$ credit or to get a new fridge delivered to us, without us even asking anything. We probably wouldn't have noticed the scratch at all had it not been pointed out to us, it was so small. The credit was processed in under an hour. Most companies would've tried getting out of compensating the clients, but they go their extra mile to ensure the products are delivered in good condition. We'll definitely be repeat customers for this reason. :) I don't feel like they'll try to rip us off ever.

Really upset about the service. They lie just to sell and sadly I realized it late. We bought a room set (4 pieces). I asked specifically about any damaged items when new. Saleswoman said “In Tanguay you contact us and we arrange everything, not calling third parties”. - 2 items have already arrived. 1 of them is damaged and Customer Service Tanguay said we have to contact the company and it takes up to 6 weeks to receive the damaged parts. - the other 2 items have not arrived yet and again saleswoman said: for sure you will receive your 2 others items a week after the 1st delivery due covid.. Customers service told us today... they will probably arrive next week but not sure.
