The Barber House - Best Men’s Barbershop in JLT

So today was such a great day! Ms Kiera was an angel explaining the whole process including doing it all with her magic hands! She patiently detangled, washed , deep conditioned and wet cut my hair including styling and final touches of dry cut too! The turn out was just awesome! My friends and family can’t stop looking and touching my hair! Each curl is so defined they sparkle! Thank you Aidah for being so nice and accommodating me ! Keep up the good work ! ♥️

**Update - December 20, 2024 Following up on my previous review, the manager reached out to me, apologized for my earlier experience, and kindly offered a redo with their best senior stylist, Tiffany. I decided to give it another shot, and I’m so glad I did. Fast forward to a week later, my experience was completely different from my first visit. Tiffany was warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. She walked me through every step of the process, even showing me a picture of the color I’d be getting to ensure I was happy with it. She took the time to teach me how to style my hair, which is essential for maintaining curls after leaving the salon. I left loving both my hair color and the stylist. This experience also goes to show that my previous visit was a one-off, and the management truly cares about customer retention and satisfaction. Thanks to this experience, I’ve now found my go-to curly hair specialist in Tiffany:) December 15, 2024 I visited this salon on December 12, 2024, for a haircut, hair color, and root touch-up as part of my "mommy makeover." Sadly, the experience was disappointing despite the positive Google reviews. The receptionist was the only highlight, greeting me warmly and ensuring I was comfortable. However, my hairstylist wasn't very friendly and didn’t introduce herself, seemed uninterested, and rushed through the consultation. I wasn’t given proper advice on color selection, and the result was far brighter than I wanted and I can't wait to get it off. Despite repeatedly asking for highlights only on the lower half, she applied them all over, ignored my request for just 5–6 foils, and mismatched my root touch-up color. The heavy styling products left my fine, wavy hair stiff and flat at the roots. The entire process lacked communication, care, and attention, with more focus on upselling than customer satisfaction. I regret choosing this salon and would not recommend it, especially if you have fine, wavy hair like mine.

I’ve visited Curl’s Salon twice, and both times were wonderful! Megan and Melody did a fantastic job styling my curls. The service was excellent, and I loved my haircut. I will definitely keep coming back. They have great promotions, and it’s the perfect spot for natural curly or wavy hair care.
