The Frog: A Firkin Pub

The Firkin Pub is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. They’ve got a good variety of drinks on tap and tasty pub food that really hits the spot. A fun, casual spot for a night out!

Dined here on a weekday after 6pm and it wasn’t very busy. I sat at the bar and Nicole (bartender/server) was lovely! 5 stars for her friendly energy, attentiveness and overall service during my visit! She made it a wonderful experience! Ordered the British Dip with a poutine and a pint of Coors Light. The beer was refreshing and no issues. British Dip was drenched in sauce and made the baguette soggy at the bottom. It was disappointing and not exactly what I expected from a standard “beef dip”. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen or I should try other food items on the menu. Overall, I’d come by for a couple of drinks and the good vibes but food wise I’m hesitant to try something else on the menu.

We came here with a group of friends and really enjoyed the style of the place. There’s plenty of seating, and since we came on a Monday, it wasn’t too busy, we sat outside, which was great. The vibes were good, the staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. Overall, a very nice spot to hang out with friends!
