I had been a client here for months and asked about the possibility of doing hair extensions. I was scheduled with a stylist for a consult and we matched extension colors and I paid a $500 deposit upon leaving this consult visit. A week and a half later I received a call from the salon to note that the color we selected wasn’t available. They asked me to schedule another consult to select a different color but wanted to schedule me out another week. By that time now I would be closer to needing another highlight so I asked that we select the color at my next highlight visit in three weeks. I had to schedule for the extensions after leaving the salon and attempted to reach them by phone four different times. Each time though, calls were forwarded to their call center where I had to leave messages. None of these calls were ever returned. I eventually went to the salon and was given a managers email and a direct phone line to call. At this point I contemplated leaving the salon given the challenges in reaching them, but I had paid $500 and decided to stick it out. After receiving the extensions, I was told upon checking out that I’d need to return in four weeks for a “weft check.” This was the first I was told about this. I made the appt and a week later, realized I would need to change the appt time. I tried the direct phone line and again, never reached anyone. I had to email the manager to get this appt rescheduled. When I made that return visit, I was surprised to learn that this visit cost me another $125 in addition to the total nearly $1500 I paid for extensions. I also let the stylist know that I wasn’t able to put my hair up without the extensions showing, to which she said that this type of extensions wasn’t made for that. This was surprising to me because I had specifically noted at consult that I intended to wear my hair up most often. But I paid this $125 and then asked if I would need to return every four weeks, as that hadn’t been communicated to me and reception told me that this was the case. Later that day, I got a call from the salon to inform me that my charges were in fact supposed to be $250, not $125 and that they’d do me the favor of comp’ing this fee this time but that my visits every four weeks would be $250. Three days later, one of the extension rows came half way out. You’d think this kind of cost would be explained at a consult visit and would result in a product that lasted the four weeks. I was no longer interested in going back to the salon and attempted to call the manager again to discuss the issue. I called six different times and emailed her four times without a single response from anyone. At that point I visited another salon and had the extensions taken out only six weeks after they had been placed. I attempted to dispute ONLY the extension placement many payment, understanding that a deposit is a deposit, but wouldn’t you know it?- the salon was able to respond to dispute letters within a day- but couldn’t respond to my calls or emails. Needless to say, I didn’t win the dispute because the credit card company believed their receipt of services completed necessitated the charges. The customer service and quality of care are severely lacking at this salon. Go somewhere else.
Anastasia did my no-chip manicure and she was beyond amazing. She did a fantastic job, listened to what I wanted, and was very detailed in her work. I am very happy with the finished work. It was exactly what I was looking for before my vacation trip. I highly recommend Anastasia as a great nail technician.
Had an amazing experience with Vanessa and my daughter’s updo for prom. Highly recommend!!! Also, we both really love Megan for our haircuts. We both have medium to long curly hair and she really knows her stuff.
