Exceptional Care and Compassionate Service! I recently visited Winterfield Veterinary, and I am beyond impressed with the care and professionalism they provide. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. The facility is clean, modern, and well-equipped, ensuring that every pet receives the best care possible. The veterinarians and technicians are knowledgeable, patient, and take the time to explain every detail about your pet’s health. They never rush through appointments and make you feel like your pet is their top priority. What stood out most was their compassion. The team went above and beyond to make Callie comfortable, offering gentle handling and plenty of reassurance. It’s clear they truly love what they do. Whether it’s routine check-ups, vaccinations, or more complex treatments, Winterfield Veterinary delivers top-notch care. I’m grateful to have found a clinic that treats my pet like family. The team of veterinary professionals provided excellent care to my cat while I was visiting the practice for his annual physical. Unfortunately, I think their customer service needs improvement. The vet made a mistake a prescribed an incorrect dosage for an antibiotic that my cat was required to take. I notified the practice after I realized the volume of medicine was getting low. They realized their mistake and after several moments of miscommunication and misunderstanding I realized what I should be dosing my cat. The experience was extremely inconvenient and expensive. I was willing to pay for the additional medicine however I thought the practice would have provided me with a better customer service experience...a small credit, refund for the medicine, an apology etc.. since they made the mistake. After communicating with two office managers, making another visit to the office, and talking to the vet I gave up on trying to get them to recognize the inconvenience they had placed on me. They wouldn't acknowledge a courtesy credit of any kind therefore I walked away from the experience wishing they would have made it right. The office manager was very condescending and pointed out to me that if I went to Kroger and had the same experience no one would bother with making my experience better or right. She also mentioned in an insulting tone that this same mistake could happen if I had a child. Exceptional care yet poor customer service.

My lab had outlasted his natural life. Dr. Willis did all he could, but at my request we mutually agreed he was suffering and I had to make that decision pet owners hate. The Dr. and his staff couldn’t have been more empathetic and professional. They made a horrific situation almost tolerable. Extremely impressed.

I have been so happy with Winterfield and our dog’s vet Dr. Tisnado. We have a difficult pit mix that has been treated very poorly by 3 other places in the area. Dr. Tisnado was the first vet who helped us get her anxiety under control and prescribe her a medication to help her at the vet. Other vets had rude comments about her behavior or made us feel bad that she had behavioral issues despite explanations that she is a rescue and had been abused. Dr. Tisnado took the time to get to know our dog and pair herself with positivity and treats. She was the first vet in 7 years to treat her like this and it has made all the difference that she built rapport with our dog! We drive 40 minutes one-way to get to Winterfield and will continue to do so because she is the only vet we trust. Thank you for everything you all do for Gretel! All of the staff are very professional and kind. The facility is very clean, too. We appreciate you all so much!!!!
