Without a shadow of doubt. This is the worst Asian restaurant in Saskatoon. I will never buy takeout from here again. Bought the special fried rice and there was nothing special about it. It was cooked white rice that had been in the fridge and the just mixed in some bland prawns 10 peas (likely frozen) and soy sauce. Not worth a quarter of the price. Very poor. Ginger beef was also sub par. Just fried beef with sugar sauce. Terrible. Avoid this menu.
Great customer service and food was really great, too! The spring rolls were surprisingly so big and meaty! Highly recommend especially for people in Saskatoon who are looking for places to eat at night as most places here close really early.
Absolutely awful — do not let the 4.5 stars fool you! My boyfriend and I had a great day in Saskatoon and thought we’d cap it off with dinner at this place, assuming a 4.5-star rating meant at least half-decent food. We were very wrong. We ordered the deep-fried shrimp, chicken fried rice, steamed vegetables, and dry ribs. Every single item was disappointing, bordering on inedible. The shrimp were excessively breaded and somehow both under and overcooked — chewy, soggy, and rubbery all at once. The chicken fried rice had no flavor whatsoever. One reviewer said it tasted like plain rice with soy sauce, and honestly, they were being generous. The chicken itself was rubbery and suspiciously fake-tasting — more like a dollar store knockoff of fish pretending to be chicken. The steamed vegetables were the worst thing on the plate. They looked old and tasted even worse — a sad, soggy mix of mostly celery with broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and a few other limp additions. I took one bite and immediately spit it out. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up dry ribs, but they proved me wrong. Every piece was either mostly fat, undercooked, or so salty it was hard to swallow. Some were soggy, others were dry to the point of being brittle. One was inexplicably drenched in lemon juice — so sour I genuinely think biting into a raw lemon would’ve been more pleasant. The only remotely tolerable part of the meal was the bottled sweet and sour sauce, though it had the consistency of water. For two people with a side of dry ribs, the total came to $48 with a 7% discount. Frankly, you couldn’t pay me that same amount to eat this again. We left feeling ripped off and queasy. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.
