Found this business while looking through social media sites and they came highly recommended on NextDoor. I had begun the arduous journey of finding a new vet after an unfortunate experience with the vet I had been taking my fur babies to since 2018. It is never easy to start this process but so glad that I did. Called and spoke to Ella who was so very helpful and kind. She answered all my questions and made the "New Patient" process easy to understand. On the day of my fur babies appointment I was so pleased that we were kept informed via text with arrival times, etc. We won the lottery with Dr. Morris and Kaela! Such compassionate people. They love their job and it shows. Having the convenience of a vet coming to your home lessens the stress your pet experiences of leaving their home and going to an office. Dr. Morris was very thorough, attentive and genuinely cared about our concerns. We look forward to having Capital Vet care for our fur babies. Thank you again for the excellent care.

We are beyond grateful for Capital Home Vet during one of the most difficult moments in our lives. Our beloved senior dog suddenly declined over the weekend, and on Monday, we were frantically calling travel euthanasia services without much success—most were either closed or fully booked due to the holiday week. When we reached out to Capital Home Vet, we were met with a compassionate and understanding receptionist who truly brought us comfort during our time of panic. She was able to schedule a same-day appointment, which meant the world to us. Later that day, Dr. Morris and Vicki arrived at our home and exceeded all our expectations. Their kindness, professionalism, and patience were extraordinary. They took the time to walk us through every step of the process, ensuring we were comfortable and informed. They respected our wishes and allowed us to say goodbye in the most peaceful and loving way possible. Capital Home Vet provided not just a service, but a gift—a dignified and serene farewell for our sweet dog. We cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone facing this incredibly difficult decision.

I am an empty nester so my 3 pups are my 2nd chance at children and I treat them as such. So looking for a vet that I trust is something I take very seriously. When my Bella began to itch her paw I found a mass there. After talking with my old vet they indicated it needed to be removed and they wanted to schedule her for surgery. At my old vet that meant dropping her off at 8am and they would keep her in a kennel until the doc was ready. It could be 1st thing or last thing but I couldn’t pick her up till 4pm. I knew there had to be a better way! When I found Capital Home I thought I would never be able to afford a concierge vet, but after our first visit I realized that really it’s only slightly more and most of that is to cover the cost of them driving to my home. Best part was the entire surgery took maybe 30 min start to finish and my sweet Bella never saw the inside of a “waiting kennel”. Capital Home Vets are extremely thorough and considerate! They are caring and loving to the animals AND the moms! Thank you for taking such great care of my Bella and you will have a customer for life now! No more waiting in the room while my poor babies have high anxiety waiting on a vet!

A good friend of mine had recommended another Euthanasia Service but they were not available so they recommended Capital Home Vet Clinic. I was a little skeptical since I had never heard of them before. However, I'm so GLAD I TOOK A LEAP OF FAITH! From the initial phone call to the end of my dog Franklin's life, they were so professional, friendly and empathetic; making you feel like you were doing the right thing. I highly recommend and will use them again but hopefully not anytime soon. The worst thing about having a fur-baby is saying... GOODBYE! At least for me it is. Thank you so much for making it a little easier and comforting!
