Dr. Rob Joseph Dentistry

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Joseph’s for a few years. Initially, my experience there was positive. There has since been a significant decline in patient care, communication, and integrity at this dentistry. I’ve had several very poor experiences within the last couple of years. Reception not picking up or returning voicemails for weeks/months, being inappropriately billed major dental fees, and lack of accountability from the dentist for problems he caused. I’ve been billed to sit in his chair, without any oral exam, the dental chair didn’t even recline, to be told I need to return at a later date - a 2-3 minute conversation. I had a filling “repaired” at a pre-booked appointment, to which was 3 hours in length, where Dr. Joseph was extremely overbooked and rushed, and frankly quite rough in handing my dental work - resulting in pain and a filling incorrectly done. I’ve been back multiple times in attempt to have this rectified and he continues to deny seeing a problem and actually blames me… not to mention being billed for all of these visits for something he did incorrectly and caused, as issues only arose after a terribly long, painful visit. Quite disappointed as I’ve consulted with other dentists who reassured me the dentist who did the work should fix it without a fee. Not the case here, sadly. But it’s more than the fees, it’s the lack of accountability, integrity, and care - it’s the creating pain and problems with my teeth and then not being competent enough to fix it. I’ve left this dentistry with more problems than I entered with. In fact, I don’t think any of my dental concerns were ever treated properly or addressed at this dentistry. I’m unsure the causative factor of why quality patient care is not the goal at this dentistry, perhaps due to high staff turnaround or taking on way too many patients/overbooking? It appears money may have taken the place of quality patient care here. I appreciate the reassurance of knowing my dentist cares about my oral health and is doing all they can to preserve it and ensure I am informed and treated fairly during my dental visits. It is comforting to have confidence in your healthcare provider. I suggest you keep searching if that’s what you’re looking for.

I was referred to this dentist by a friend of mine. I heard great things. Said they make you feel very comfortable, very accommodating to their patients. However, I have made 3 appointments over the last 2 months, and all 3 were canceled. No explanation given. I've had to switch my work schedules and wait another 3 weeks for an appointment, only for them to cancel an hour before. Not very professional in my eyes. And very agitated with this dentistry.

Stuck the needle all the way through my lip when I was frozen and DIDNT EVEN TELL ME. Also talk about inappropriate/disturbing things while I was getting worked on that still bother me to this day
