I ordered a brake light switch for my VW T5 and was told it would be ready for collection the next morning. When I went to pick it up the next day I was told that 'there had been a telephone problem' and to come back to pick it up in a couple of days. This meant a further two days off the road (I could have ordered on-line and got a next day delivery but wanted to support a local business). After picking it up I installed it but the fault persisted so I assumed the brake light switch was not the problem. I then took it to MCM garage in Radstock where they fitted a new brake light switch telling me that Eurocarparts had given me the wrong switch - bill went from a few pound to nearly 90 pounds! I complained to the manager at Eurocarparts who confirmed it was the wrong switch. I asked if as a goodwill gesture he could help out given the mistake they made. He point blank refused saying that he could only give me a refund for the switch. He was barely apologetic ... I wouldn't recommend. What he failed to realise that a little bit of goodwill would have gone a long way. Poor customer service and potentially dangerous supply of a wrong part!

Terrible Service. I ordered a brake caliper on a saturday for my car as I had a stuck caliper. I ordered the caliper from Euro Car Parts so that I could fit it straight away. I then realised that I could wait as I managed to free up the caliper a bit. I bought it online from somewhere else as it was much cheaper. I went there just hours after ordering the caliper as I still hadn't collected it. I went there so that I could cancel my order and get a refund as I couldn't find anywhere on the website to cancel it. I went there and was assured that I would get a refund. The guy serving me looked as if he had no interest at all and clearly could'nt be bothered to sort out a refund. On my bank account it was still saying pending, however a week later I noticed that the money had been taken out of my account instead and no money was refunded. I went there again a week later today to ask for a refund yet again. Before even getting served I walked in and had to wait for around 10 minutes despite the place being empty. Once I was finally served, I was told it was supposedly an issue with PayPal as it can take 2 to 3 weeks to refund. Anyway, that was basicly their way to resolve it and I was getting sent home. I had to tell them to check the system and that I wanted an invoice showing the refund. What a surprise that the first time I went there the guy who served me didn't bother to process the refund as it was showing as not canceled. Do not go to this store if you have other options, especially if you are in a hurry to collect something. Staff were outside all chatting and smoking and took no notice when I walked into the shop.
