The driver's were polite and the cars were all of excellent quality. We will definitely use this taxi company again. Week ending 31st January 2025
Andrew GraingerCab was booked over the phone, for my partner, 12 hrs before pickup and was on time. Since then I've had 3 WhatsApp messages 4 texts about paying which I accepted and paid GPay but my partner paid the driver when she arrived at destination. Very confusing conversation with veezu and still unsure if money has been taken from my account, her account or both for one journey.
Gary RobinsonA third time I have booked and they failed to show up - utterly useless service where they can pick and choose whether they want your fare at the very last minute - they don't give advanced warning. Missed one train and nearly missed two others because of these con artists and I leave a good margin of time because of previous experiences with these crooks. Their sleazy T&Cs says they don't have a contract until they've physically picked you up. I've lost over £90 for a missed train today because a taxi I booked several hours in advance didn't show up because they had better rides somewhere else. This is the 'gig economy' in action. How can this be legal ? They also rip off their drivers. Don't use this service !!!!!
BitaWhen we booked the ride yesterday the price was clearly 18 pounds but once the ride was over we realised the price was almost twice what was on the app and it was a shock to us. We did not book the ride to end up paying twice what we thought we would have to pay. The app is not useful for negotiating or complaining either. But the driving and trip and driver were good .
