Melissa was our Day of Coordinator and she and her team were amazing. She worked with us a month before the wedding, communicated with all the vendors, and made sure that our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. We could not have asked for a better person to rely on. Highly recommend!!

TL;DR: if you're on the fence on whether or not you need a wedding planner, we were there too. Joanne from Events to Woo is 1000% worth every single penny. She was friendly, accommodating, experienced, hardworking, honest, budget-conscious, and incredibly detail-oriented, and through her guidance and effort and our own leg work, we had the best wedding day we possibly could have, at a fraction of the price we thought we would've had to spend. Read below for more details 👇🏻 We hired Joanne from Events to Woo as our wedding planner, for a jam-packed mid-morning ceremony, cocktail hour, and early afternoon reception, all at the same venue on a Saturday in November. As we had the venue booked and most of the vendors figured out for our wedding day, Joanne recommended us her reasonably priced "Month Of Planning" service. As soon as our first meeting, we were immediately impressed with her detail-oriented approach, comprehensive experience and knowledge, and friendly but professional demeanor. After booking her services, she was on top of every little detail in the timeline she worked through with us, which mapped out the entire day and included a detailed floor plan, timeslots for setup, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, send-off and teardown, and a list of materials needed to match my fiancee's target decoration aesthetic. Our other vendors and the venue also really appreciated her detailed timeline, which made their job really straightforward. She made it very clear what we were still missing, and provided budget friendly vendors and alternatives for items we hadn't thought of, like extra hands we really needed for setup and cleanup, as well as a reasonably priced local celebrant she had worked with several times for a smooth, memorable ceremony. She was always accommodating in her schedule for video calls to discuss details and brainstorming, and made comprehensive use of Google Docs and Sheets to clearly outline next items for us to tackle. What we most appreciated was her candor around what was and wasn't necessary. She was very conscious of our budget and recommended cost-effective alternatives that would still match our desired style and aesthetic. She was also there the day of with her assistant, and went above and beyond to help us out the entire day, including picking up our wedding cake early in the morning and taking it to the venue, doing a mini-rehearsal with me and the rest of the bridal party to make sure we knew what we were doing for the ceremony, and orchestrating the moving around of the roughly 100 pieces of furniture during cocktail hour for the reception, all while being pretty much invisible to us and our guests, so that we could enjoy our celebration. She even helped us by taking all the decorations and leftover cake home she could fit in her car with her and drove over to our place to drop them off the day after. Joanne, if you read this, know that we can't thank you enough for making our day as good as it could be. Joanne was the "day of coordinator" for our wedding this past weekend. She was simply the best coordinator I could have asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure all details and decorations came through on our wedding day. She had excellent communication with other vendors leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She checked in with me multiple times throughout the planning process to make sure everything was set for the big day. She also offered to help with any last minute details I was struggling to finish (ie, making bar signs, designing a welcome sign, etc). She was kind, personable, flexible and easy to communicate with. She even picked up on all non-verbal communication going on in the room, understood what we wanted, and made all dreams come true. My now husband and I were very glad that we got to work with Events to Woo on the most important day in our lives. Our wedding was beautiful and Joanne helped us thoroughly enjoy the day as stress-free, happy bride & groom!
