Once Upon a Time Events (and Saprena!) created PURE MAGIC. If you’re looking for an event decorator who can a vision (mine was a wild, nostalgic, Y2K-inspired prom vision) and turn it into a jaw-dropping masterpiece, look no further than Saprena at Once Upon a Time Events. From the moment I shared my idea for an early-2000s prom–themed milestone birthday, she was instantly on board—and already spinning the concept into something even better than I imagined. The décor she delivered? Absolutely unreal. The custom signage, the photo-ready prom backdrop, the rich velvety tablecloths, the perfectly placed disco balls catching the colored lighting, the layered-height centerpieces—every detail was so intentional, so cohesive, and so downright stunning. Guests kept telling me the venue had never looked so incredible, and honestly, they weren’t exaggerating. Saprena didn’t decorate the space—she transformed it. Saprena brought the expertise of a seasoned designer but the energy of a friend who’s genuinely thrilled for and supportive of your vision. She also managed the floor plan with tremendous thoughtfulness, crafting an ideal flow for cocktails, dinner, dancing, the bar, snacks—everything. It was seamless, comfortable, and gorgeous all at once. Once Upon a Time Events made my event unforgettable.

Saprena & Greg are wonderful. We selected them for their décor services and made our wedding day absolutely gorgeous. They were both such a pleasure to work with and made decorating our space so easy. I made so many changes and very frequently but they were not hazed and happy to help my husband and I create our vision. I loved the amount of variety they had in their stock. If they did not have what I pictured, Greg could make it, which is so cool! Honestly, if you aren’t using Once Upon a Time Events as your coordination team, you are doing yourself a HUGE disservice. Everything (from planning and preperations, to the day of our wedding) was so smooth and simple thanks to them! Saprena and Greg made everything about our wedding day absolutely perfect. They were so helpful in helping us find the perfect DJ and bakery and even created so many beautiful custom decorations to fit our wedding venue and style.
