Our experience here was like no other Harrahs we have visited, which are many. I was charged an upgrade for an upgrade I never requested or received. Our room in the Dive Inn was VERY dated. There was not even a chest of drawers for us to unpack our clothes, and we were staying for 4 nights. Also, for whatever reason, it was my understanding there were no coffee makers in ANY of the rooms. My son and daughter-in-law were in a suite and they had no coffee maker in their room either! Also, there was no cleaning service at all! We had to request clean towels and wash cloths. We had to put all of our dirty towels/wash cloths in the corner of the bathroom....disgusting. I am still trying to find out what the upgrade charge was for but have not found that out yet. The casino is smaller than any that we have visited. On Sunday alot of people were checking in. Sunday afternoon we walked down toward the casino and it was SO smokey from smokers that I could hardly breathe. We had to go outside and sit for a while. Why in the world would they not have a smoking area in the BACK of the casino for smokers instead of smoking area in the front right across from Starbucks, which all coffee drinkers are going to visit because there are no coffee makers in the rooms! We did order from Starbucks several times. The coffee is very good,, however, they do not serve Splenda as a sweetener. The bacon Gouda sandwich is very very good.
My girlfriend and I had never been to Harrah's before. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to get a cabana and spend the day at the pool. Everything was great. Our pool server, Araceli, did a great job up until the bill arrived. Our bill totaled $69.00 but when the bill was presented it was $82.80. I took a harder look at the bill and saw that our server had added on a 20% tip bringing the $69.00 bill to $82.80. I also noticed that the pool will add a service charge of 20% to parties with 6 or more guests. Well, it was just the 2 of us. So what is happening is the check is presented with a tip already included and with the intention of adding another tip to the draft. This is a common form of theft in restaurants. I called the food and beverage manager 2 weeks ago to inform them of this. I was told it would take 24-48 hours before someone got back to me. It has been two very long weeks with no phone call back. I can only determine that Harrah's doesn't care about fraud being committed by their staff, and getting back to me? Keep your eyes open.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the pleasure of attending the Rincon Indian Christmas Party at Harrah’s, hosted by the Rincon Tribe, and it was absolutely wonderful. The event was beautifully organized, warm, and full of holiday spirit. From the atmosphere to the hospitality, everything reflected care, generosity, and community. It was clear how much pride the Rincon Tribe takes in bringing people together and creating a memorable celebration. Truly a great experience, and one that left a lasting impression.
