Hôtel du Nord

We chose this hotel as it was close to the airport, reasonable price and included breakfast. We chose a ground floor room which is 'Level 1' on their booking site. There are only 2 levels. |We arrived late and the receptionist was really lovely and friendly. |There was a McDonald's just next door so we were able to get a late dinner. |The room was HUGE! We had a king bed and a sofa and still SO much room. The bathroom was small, but that was fine, we just needed the shower and toilet (no bath). |The room was simple, however looked like it may have been recently renovated. |The breakfast was very average, however enough to fill me up with bread/toast/muffins plus cereals and yogurt. They also offered eggs, potato and bacon however it looked a bit overcooked so I wasn't tempted to try it. |Choice of apple or orange juice. |Overall I was very happy to stay here at a reasonable rate for a stopover.

Morning & night shift staff has difference level of friendliness. Room was nice. We had King size bed 🛏️, bathroom is pretty clean and shampoo & condition are provided but not body wash. Hair dryer power of airflow is pretty weak. Make my own fresh waffle 🧇 in the morning which is pretty cool, two options original flavour & blueberry 🫐 flavour waffle. Happy with the breakfast, also has fried egg, bacon 🥓, bread, yogurt , coffee, juices, etc. Great experience, will come back if next time come back.

We stayed at this Comfort Inn for one night after a long drive from Eastern,Ontario. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we expected. The young lady working at the front desk recommended a restaurant across the street - Microbrasserie Archibald. We had dinner there and it was so good. Good recommendation from the lady at the front desk. We were able to get a good night's sleep even though this hotel is situated close to the Airport and along a busy road. We'd stay there again.
