Gabriela cut my hair exactly like I wanted to. My Spanish is very poor but with translator and pictures it worked. She was very patient. I was charged extra for the blow dry but I must say I spent more than 1.5 hours there since my hair is very long so I think that is still very reasonable and she told me beforehand. I like that they use herbal water for washing the hair and she gave me many tips on how to handle my hair better. I felt very welcomed and would come back.

It's a cool place with a young team who are good at what they are doing. Everyone seems happy and polite. Melissa and Laura can speak English quite well. I found La Peluquería by Google and saw they have very good reviews. Plus the Laboratorio Miércoles or Peluqueras asesinas program offer free haircuts but they will experiment your hair and you don't know what you will get. My hair turned out super cool! And it's completely free, as said. However, it took nearly 4 hours just to cut my hair. I was shocked. I lived nearly 20km away from the center/ hair salon so it took me 1 hour to get there. And to go back. Anyway, if you don't mind waiting, willing to have an adventure with your hair and save the cost at the same time, the Miércoles de Lab is for you. And I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Alternative hair salon with café and shop inside. This place provides artistic and very modern styles of haircut. The vibe is very cool and the people who work in there are very friendly and helpful. They treat hair with natural herbal infusions too. On Wednesday they have "volunteer day" which provides free haircuts to people willing to try new style and let the stylists experiment on their heads.
