Le Grand Café Québec - Restaurant saveurs

We chose IL Grande for breakfast, and it turned out to be a great decision. We had the classic breakfast, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I truly recommend this place

They seated us very quickly for breakfast, but it took exactly 45 minutes from the time they took our order until the food arrived. The first coffee they served was cold, but they refilled it quickly, and the refills were at a good temperature—not too hot, but warm enough. We asked for over-easy eggs, but they brought us sunny-side up and well-done eggs instead. The strawberries on the French toast were spoiled, which completely threw off my daughter, and she didn’t want to eat. The French toast was also cold. To top it off, the bathroom flush wasn’t working. They gave us a 15% discount on the French toast because of the strawberries, but overall, the experience was disappointing.

Visited during Christmas time, didn't get to experience the outdoor seating. Which I assume is that makes this restaurant nice as it is located at the foot of battlefield park. Tourist prices, portions are small, quality is slightly above average. For what it's worth, during Christmas time being able to make a reservation on the Eve of Christmas at rush hour dinner time was quite accessible. This restaurant isn't all to rave about, it is a Cafe at best and the food is decent. Can't expect it to be fine dining.
