My overall suggestion is to avoid this contractor. Originally, he spoke well on the phone, made a decent quote, and the work started on schedule. But everything quickly went downhill. The overall workmanship is below average, and he is chronically late on deadlines (He finished 3 months over schedule on a 1 month contract). Now, after the work is complete, he owes us money from our initial deposit since the work was not completed as was set out in the contract. He has agreed to pay us back the amount. As it currently stands, he is avoiding us by not returning our calls still after more than 1 month. We will eventually recover the money one way or another, but it is just another example of why it’s not a good idea to do business with this company. Other companies out there are likely to do better work and are easily more dependable. If you are taking time to read reviews before hiring someone, I strongly suggest you find another company. In my experience they are not reliable, do poor work and do not return calls. It’s not worth the stress and frustration of hiring this contractor. I wanted to share my experience so that others can be made aware of what we experienced.
