MedStar Health: Urgent Care at Federal Hill

I was visiting Baltimore and chose this urgent care based on the reviews. I was so impressed! It was easy to make an appointment and I was seen quickly. All of the staff was kind & attentive, and they had great extras like water bottles and tvs in the treatment rooms. I cannot recommend them highly enough! This location was close to a pharmacy, so I was able to walk to grab my prescriptions, which was incredibly convenient.

The team worked exactly as you hoped, but did not expect as described on the website. They did test for all normal viruses, etc. and had the results documented and prepared when consulting. They assessed the situation and did additional testing as necessary. They accurately prescribed antibiotics and documented the visit. They did not go beyond what they saw and tested. They coordinated a supporting staff with ease. The most amazing part was that neither of the two on the medical team were MDs. I had immediate results and was very pleased with the medical service. So nice to get such a great service in Baltimore City. Keep up the good work!

On Sunday, I was treated by Dr. Terpay for what was without question the worst gout flare-up I’ve ever had. I was in intense pain, anxious, exhausted from a stressful week of moving, and admittedly not at my best. Despite that, Dr. Terpay and her entire team were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, attentive, and efficient from start to finish. Dr. Terpay immediately understood what I was going through without me having to explain much. She was incredibly compassionate and managed to care for me in a way that felt both calm and unhurried—while still getting me the help I needed quickly. That balance of empathy and efficiency meant so much to me. I left feeling truly cared for, and deeply appreciative of the professionalism, warmth, and understanding shown to me during such a rough moment. Thank you, Dr. Terpay and staff, for reminding me what great care feels like.
