» Customer Experiences:
When proven that they were wrong on a determination they refused to correct until another government entity got involved. After they got involved everything was put on pause but never fixed so I'll be shaken down for more money come September even though they have 23 overpayments because of their error already.
Updated Review: The new administration has improved, and they have now earned a 5-star rating. Original Experience: This was the worst customer service I had ever experienced. All their phone numbers were inactive, they never returned calls, and they didn’t answer when I tried reaching them. I couldn’t understand why this department was even open. I work at schools and hospitals, and I spent weeks trying to get in touch with them. Eventually, I gave up and dropped out of college because of the Department of Education’s lack of response. Garbage service at that time!
8 hours a day in school should be considered forced imprisonment. My childhas learned more on guided youtube videos. School should not have its hours set based on work schedules of civilian parents. It's not your day care. Early morning and after school care programs should be paid for by the working parents and the programs need to be expanded. All school staff should know it is there job to teach respect for the children. If you disrespect in retaliation what are you teaching them? Humiliation and public embarrassment of children as disciplinary action should be punishable by law. Transparency of punishments given to teachers should be mandatory so that parents and children who suffer from the inappropriate staff behaviors have the right to know how the inappropriate school staf were held accountable as necessary for breaking their oaths. Government immunity for playground injury, injury involving school staff and careless actions of staff should no longer be a form of protection for the careless staff and playgrounds that are improperly supervised. Tax payers pay thousands as payroll to immoral school staff. Fix the real stuff instead of spending thousands feeding kids free food that is cheap and makes the kids sick! Stop feeding them free garbage food. Stop wasting money and stop the ignorance of the michigan public schools!! It's 2024. Why are we using laws from the 80s before technology existed? Schools should have security staff just like bus drivers... not cops and dogs. Wake up people!!
