» Customer Experiences:
I love this place everyone is so friendly here. I love shopping here and looking at different things in the store. I'm also a vendor in Next Time Around. Lots to see in the Market too .My vendor spot is Harus Treasure Shop lots of Japanese products and more come and see for yourself. ❤️👘🌸
I happened to check this place out over the weekend and fell in love! Such a sweet, charming little place. The prices are good, the quality is beautiful of most pieces. Staging is a nice touch. Would have given a 5 star rating if parking was better, they had a website as well as their FB page, and the staff had been more engaging with their customers, or at least acknowledged them. Would still return if we were in the area again. Have my eye on a couple things I will look for on their FB page.
RESPONSE to Kristy: First of all, thank you for speaking to doing better and recognizing the importance of attentive customer service. Respectfully, my post did not state all people have the same experience, yet pointing out that there are posts that resonate with what I have shared. Kindly note google reviews are not done by every person who walks in /uses a business, whether it be a positive or negative experience. NTR has 182 reviews and am sure there have been more customers than this over the years; personally, I write a negative review if it is an ongoing issue/seriously poor experience and a positive if it is exceptional. I rarely do reviews. As stated, gave NTR chances over the years - no reviews - yet with repeated occurrences (forgoing comments about the items and pricing as it is not consistently positive, yet fair for a second-hand store), felt it was of value to do a review as this is what this platform is for. Thank you and all the best. INITIAL POST: I gave another chance after being at the old store location on Hespeler where I stopped going (see other reviews as it resonates with its repetitiveness) and moved to Queen for the last bit, as it is great to support our environment. However, it is the same: inattentive to customers, even when not busy (one time, it was only myself and another customer until they left); staff standing around the cash area (2-3 at a time) chit-chatting, and also eating one of the times I came in and looked like lunch in a bowl while 3 staff were hanging out behind the cash counter. I am adding a review this time, as perhaps another voice saying the same thing may help promote changes, including reading responses from the store as sorry for a customer having a bad experience and/or inviting people to come back or saying you have the wrong store (which it appears it is the right store ... and btw is Sherry still there? ) and so on, yet it doesn't equate to store changes, so reviewing the reviews to improve customer service would be of benefit. I gave this store another shot at the Queen St location (few shots actually and now give up) only to see the same thing happening as the Hespeler location. Personally, it feels unprofessional in my opinion, and it is the only store I have been to where staff eat in front of customers, as well as do not acknowledge or help them, unless they do this with certain customers, which one would not know if you are not one of them. Some suggestions: 1) It is a much bigger store and I believe I saw some sort of private space one day that is away from customers, unless I am wrong, to eat instead of at the cash counter, and 2) kindly chit-chat amongst yourselves when there are no customers in your store. Customers need to feel valued from the time we enter to the time we leave. This is not 'hovering', which is another reply given in another post as a reason for not attending to customers. Greeting customers with a hello, good morning, etc would be a nice welcome and helping them would be fantastic. For those browsing, etc. we can respond with an ",I am just looking thanks" etc as well, if you'd like to ask us, "Anything we can do for you today?" and so on. A friendly closing/goodbye would also be nice. Personally, I won't be coming back as a customer as this bridge has been burnt one too many times, so this is food for thought for the owner and staff. Thank you.
