Eva is an absolute gem! My experience at Nu Salon truly wouldn’t have been the same without her. She’s not only incredibly professional, patient, kind, and funny—but also genuinely talented. From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely at ease. She took her time during the consultation to really understand what I wanted and was clear and transparent throughout. I went to Nu to get my hair washed and styled before a big trip to see my friends and family I've been separated from because of the pandemic. I wanted to feel my best and to not have to worry about my hair on a trip that was so important to me. I put a lot of my schedule around my hair appointment, making sure I'd have time to get to the airport on time that day. I paid almost $60 for curls that didn't hold for 10 minutes (see picture), when my hair normally holds curl very well. During my appointment, my stylist Maitland also insulted my hair and told me how much he didn't like it. When I called the salon to tell him the curls didn't last, he was quite rude but said he'd give me a refund. However, I ended up only getting half of my money back because he still "performed a service." I wanted so much to like this salon but feel I was treated very poorly and unfairly. And on a day that meant a lot to me. I wouldn't recommend.

What a great salon! I am in Montreal frequently and this time decided I'd get my hair coloured, hi-lighted and a cut. I did a little research first and happily hit the jackpot. Thanks for a fresh new look Sheema!
