Our wedding could not have been more perfect and we owe it to Naomi Goodman, of At First Blush! As a Chicago couple looking to have our wedding in Nashville, we knew we needed someone on the ground with the vendor connections and expertise to do all the dirty work. I interviewed many wedding planners, one of whom actually pointed me in Naomi's direction, and the first time we spoke I knew she understood exactly the kind of wedding we wanted. Even though Naomi was relatively new to Nashville and completely new to our venue (which was somewhat of an unusual/challenging space), she knew the perfect florist, photographer, caterer, etc. that would compliment our wedding style perfectly. If she didn't know the answer or the right vendor, she researched it. Naomi always gave us her honest opinion, but in the end would always make what we wanted to happen happen, even if it wasn't the norm for a wedding. Naomi has her own planning process, and although sometimes my type "A" now husband and I struggled a little bit with the different organizational and communications styles, we had trust it would all get done properly in the end. Naomi and I shared the same style, so I knew she would always make the best decision for my vision...and in the end our wedding looked better than I could have ever imagined it. It was absolutely the best day of our lives and it was an unbelievable feeling not to have to worry about anything the day of because Naomi and her team were on it! We had the best experience with Naomi! We cannot imagine having gone through the wedding planning process without her. We decided to do our wedding at a property we own and rent out in Nashville while living in Seattle. We realized quickly we would need some help and began interviewing wedding planners. Naomi was the only person who felt like she truly cared about our wedding, our relationship and was wanting to meet us where we were at. She worked with our very different time schedules and around the schedules of our renters. She took our vision and made it come alive! We both felt very comfortable with her, expressing our opinions and it felt like a true collaboration. We had last minute rain and what could have been an extremely stressful circumstance was handled smoothly and even with the last minute wrench of a tent thrown in to the design, the tables and set up were beyond beautiful.
