The LEGO® Store Flatiron District

This isn't like the flagship LEGO Store at the Rockefeller Center, but it's a more than a typical suburban LEGO store. They feature some giant builds in the store from time to time, like the Statue of Liberty torch and the witches from Wicked. It's located right next to Washington Square Park where LEGO had held popup events in the past. They also host regular free build events. We attended one recently where we got to build the hamburger cart. It was really fun and the finished build was adorable. This store also has a giant LEGO wall facing the windows. I didn't know about it until when I was in line for the build event and the queue led through that little hallway. Look for it -- it's quite impressive!

This store may not have the most square footage but they use the space that they have well. The walls are lined with displays and the larger, more impressive box sets. There’s also a. few larger Lego displays around the store. All-in-all, it’s a worthwhile visit for locals and tourists both.

This is one of the few official LEGO stores in NYC. In the LEGO Store Flatiron District, there is a Mosaic Maker, Pick & Build Wall, Demonstration Table, and Minifigure Factory. Of course, there are also LEGO Exclusive Sets that can only be found in store, on their official sites, or through select retailers. While this store is not as large as the one on Fifth Avenue, it still features a ton of LEGO sets and activities.
