Café Kathmandu

Couple of days ago I visited this hidden gem along with my daughter on a rainy day . The cafe was cozy and comforting. We ordered one nuwa americano coffee (Nuwa estate coffee produces single-orgin 100 percent arabica beans from nuwakot region of Nepal are known for their smooth, rich flavor and aromatic qualities) which cultivated at a pretty high altitude giving a raw and rich taste .. we also ordered a iced latte which was also very favourable and what mark it different is that they provide the sugur syrup along side the coffee rather than putting it in like anything other cafe , this cafe provides 100 percent arabica coffee ... then we ordered a jhol momo chicken which was also finger Lickingly delicious with an authentic taste of peanut pasted in it . The stuffs were all very humble especially the owner of the cafe Mrs Varsha Singh (we got to know from her that is the daughter in law of Tenzing norgay's family who was a Mount Everst climber) , she was very attentive towards us and helped as to pick the food according our taste . She offered us to eat the nepali thali the next time we visit the cafe . In short the cafe is suitable for all age of people as they do not use any preservative food product making the health of the customer their first priority. I would recommend every one to visit this cafe if u are really an momo and coffee lover.

My experience was really great ! The food and the ambiance were good. But the owner was rhetorical charm about this cafe, she is so generous and welcoming made us feel special.

Good food, Good ambience. Excellent service and behavior. We went on a Sunday, at lunch time. The warm welcome and behavior of the staff really impressed us. Also being a vegetarian, I always remain sceptical about vegetarian food options available, when I visit any cafe / restaurant for the first time. We were really pleased with the vegetarian options available. Service was fast too. Authentic vegetarian and non vegetarian Nepalese dishes are available apart from other cuisines. I definitely look forward to my next visit in this cafe and try the other food items.
