The cafe is quite small with just three table and an open kitchen. The food was absolutely undoubtedly delicious. The chicken kothey we ordered was filled with flavours and juiciness that boggled my mind . The egg and chicken thukpa we ordered was a bit less in quantity but was rich of taste ... absolutely splendid. And last but not the least their tea section is huge with different kind of teas ... I tried the lemon honey ginger tea which was amazing . The staffs were really humble and helpful. In short we loved the cafe .
The place is extremely well maintained. It's cozy, warm, the vibe is very homey, the aroma, the slight deco is just right. Everything fits in like a puzzle piece. The owner is very kind, the food is served hot and the beauty of each dish is truly striking, you can tell the care and effort put into it. The taste is truly exquisite, with the spice and the sauce. I loved the kothey momos, would highly recommend getting a plate the moment you sit down to order. I would love to try their thukpa some day, other than that, their set of tea leaves are truly worth praising. All in all Spoonful was wonderful, affordable and a great dopamine boost. Would totally visit again!
It's a quiet little place with an even little seating arrangement but serving one of the best momos in town . They make the momos in front of you so please do have some time in your hand , enjoy the feel of the mountains and sip some wonderful Temi tea! I personally felt that the steamed momos were better than the fried ones but have got to try the kothay as suggested!
