i went to celebrate my birthday just yesterday and i have to say this cafe just made it to my favourites list. the aesthetic of the cafe was 10/10. the food was really delicious. we ordered fish reshmi kebab, jeera rice, chicken tikka masala, butter naan and sahi chicken. the portion size and taste really was worth the money. a cozy, quiet place with a vast variety of food options - this is definitely my new go to place.

Visited Uns Cafe for a late lunch with my partner on a lazy afternoon. The place has a nice ambiance—spacious, well-lit, and comfortable. We managed to get a window table, which added to the experience. The food was decent, but the chicken was a bit too chewy, which was a letdown. Overall, a pleasant spot to relax and dine. May visit again to try other dishes!

Good interiors, they have books to read along with your coffee. Their coffee is amazing and they offer a variety of options in that. Galauti kabab is also very good. They have good bengali main course food options. Although individually I would like to have less rich food than what they offer. But overall a very good experience.

Discovering new cafes has always been one of my favorite things to do with the most special woman in my life—my mother. On a recent sunny afternoon, after a round of spirited street shopping, we found ourselves seeking a quiet escape from the scorching heat. That’s when we stumbled upon Uns Café, tucked away behind House of SL at the bustling Triangular Park. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enchanted. The café's aesthetic is nothing short of stunning—soothing, thoughtfully designed, and a welcome retreat from the city's chaos. But it wasn't just the ambiance that won our hearts—the food truly stole the show. We tried the Basanti Pulao, which, I must say, was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had—fragrant, perfectly cooked, and utterly delightful. The fish kebabs were melt-in-your-mouth tender and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a reminder of the richness of Bengali cuisine. By the end of our meal, one thing was certain: we would definitely be coming back—and next time, with the rest of our family. This place is simply too good to keep to ourselves. So, if you ever find yourself in Gariahat craving soulful Indian food, hop in an auto to House of SL, walk a short 150 meters, and step into Uns Café. It's an experience your taste buds—and your eyes—won’t forget.
