I held back for a few weeks to make sure I was of calm mind when I wrote this. My cat has died since. In my professional opinion as a medical physician, the clinic is focused on wellness, routine checkups and on sending you down a diagnostic path with many investigations when you have the luxury of time and resources; when things are not urgent. However, when it comes time to definitive treatment and acute health issues, it fails. Most importantly, and you should be aware of this, it does not have ability to deal with acute issues in real time, "squeeze you in" or expedite your cat's care, just because it knows your cat extensively. I recognize one needs to go elsewhere for true immediate life threatening emergencies, but it should be more accommodating for other issues. In medical practice if someone shows up at your office sick, you manage them as much as possible to stabilize them, then transfer to an emergency setting if needed and when stable. You don't turn them away even before seeing them, knowing you can help stabilize potentially before sending them to wait in another facility. My cat suffered because of this. My suggestion is to go to a vet clinic/hospital that has the ability to also do urgent, semi-urgent or emergency care, and don't expect that a "cats only" facility has better knowledge than a good clinic that has the ability to act on your cats health concerns definitively, even if it sees other animals. I don't usually write reviews on anything as I don't have time, but I was compelled when this particular clinic manager Paula, who is the one who turned me away when I needed to talk to the vet, had the nerve to call after my cat died to ask why I wasn't coming in anymore. The clinic have also sent me multiple wellness checkup reminders for my other cat, but I just can't bring myself to go back to them anymore, even though I waited months on their waiting list to get in to this clinic in the first place. As a healthcare professional, I can say that there really is no compassion from the clinic management. The front desk receptionists are kind and all the technicians in the back are stellar, but the management and the philosophy of the clinic is not.

Dr. Annie has completely surpassed every other vet we’ve seen in Canada and in the Netherlands! She identified a potential issue that our previous vet might have overlooked and is guiding us toward the best possible plan for our kitty. The level of care and attention she provides is truly exceptional, we’re so grateful for her expertise.

We had a great experience at the Cats Only Hospital. Dr. Pearlstein and her staff were very kind and did a wonderful job with Paisley for her check up. Their rates were reasonable and we could tell that they genuinely care about the cats.

Cats Only Team has been taking care of my cats' health since 2011. My oldest cat, who is turning 20 years old soon, is one of her regular patients. The staff is kind, patient and knows how to deal with cats of any age and with any medical conditions. I express my gratitude to all of them, especially to Cynthia, who consistently exceeds expectations, always being friendly, attentive, and compassionate with my feline family members and me.
