Rapport Credit Union Kingston branch I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of our mortgage application at Rapport Credit Union, specifically regarding our recent experience with your Kingston branch. This situation has caused significant distress and disruption to our lives, and it is imperative that you understand the gravity of what has transpired. For the past two months, we have been working with Carrie to secure a mortgage for a property we purchased after selling our house in Erinsville, for which Rapport holds the mortgage. We submitted all required documentation promptly and received confirmation of our approval. However, just two days before our scheduled signing, we were informed that the underwriters had reversed their decision due to incorrect information about the property's heating sources. To clarify, the house has two legitimate sources of heat: an outdoor Heat Master located nine meters from the house on a cement pad and a forced air oil furnace. There is no validity to any claim that this house is unsuitable for mortgage approval. It is unacceptable that after two months of working on this application, we are left without a viable solution just days before the closing date. Now, we are in an untenable situation where two families, including one with children and pets, face being uprooted. Our belongings are packed, and we have nowhere to go on January 31st 2025. The other family has already relocated much of their property to New Brunswick, relying on the timely closure of this sale to fund their move. This situation is not only unfair but also reflects poorly on Rapport Credit Union's ability to manage mortgage applications effectively. You had ample time to resolve any issues with the underwriters, yet here we are, scrambling to find a solution just days away from a significant deadline. I urge you to take immediate action to rectify this situation by contacting the underwriters and ensuring that the correct information is utilized. We cannot afford to start from scratch, and we need your intervention to facilitate a resolution that allows us to move in on the 31st. Rapport has had our Mortgage for 2 yrs. And this ? I look forward to your prompt response and a swift resolution to this matter.

I have preauthorization for withdrawal bi- wkly. Because I don't use the account often and sometimes forget password I would phone in and get assistance to create a new one . Then I would be able to use onlilne services. Now when I call in,they need me to either go in to show proof of ID or they can send out package for me to fill out membership again. Yet they still withdraw bi- wkly!! The lady that assisted me basically speaks so that when you try to say anything she tells you that she is not done yet. Oh my goodnesss . Not sure if it's just her or what. Also,very frustrating to have to go through all this when I have been with them for so many years.

Been a customer for a few years while my mother has been a customer with them for over 30 years while she worked with the Ontario government. Excellent customer service by phone and email. The client representatives are very personable and take the time to go through detailed information with you and share tips! Cons: -Very little interest can be accumulated with the accounts offered. - Sending e-transfers are not free. - Dormant fees
