I recently visited Home Center to buy an ironing board and some candles for my home. The ironing board I picked out is sturdy, well made, and reasonably priced. The candles were also lovely, with a wide selection of scents. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering advice when needed without being pushy. Prices were reasonable, with a few promotions available. The store had a clean, organized layout, making it easy to browse and find what I was looking for. Overall, it was a great shopping experience ❤️

Extremely rude customer service and pathetic attitude by the lovely customer services team. I came in to purchase a small side table which showed that it’s ‘In Stock’ at Mall of Emirates on their app/website. When I came to purchase they only had 1 display piece which was damaged. I really was excited to get that table for a dinner at home but their entire team ruined my experience. The manager whose name is Devendar who I’m assuming looks after the customer service team was useless and extremely rude in dealing with us. Showing lack of concern or even a sheer sense of handling customers when they’re very rightfully ticked off. He just kept saying how they always only have one piece in display in all of their branches. Well, if they do, they should MENTION THAT ONLINE. The customer isn’t supposed to magically know that when it says in stock in the app it actually means oh there is no stock and we’re lying to get customers in the store. :) The situation could’ve been handled in a way better manner had the manager of the store not shown us further negativity through his unbothered attitude towards us. I used to love shopping at home center. Now I’m never coming back.

Identified the chairs and dining table at the Home Centre Mall or Emirates branch and insisted that they make sure the right items are sent to my cargo agent, only to discover they sent me silver legged chairs when I specifically ordered golden ones matching the table. Customer service is absolutely horrific, I spoke to them on the phone after trying for over a week and I was guided to send the photos to a WhatsApp number which has been unattended for nearly a month now. I asked for a replacement and now stuck with this mismatch, having to cover shipment cost to another country if and when they decide to remedy their own mistake instead of ignoring it. Update Jan 4, 2025: It’s been another three weeks since an agent commented on my review claiming I will be contacted ‘shortly’. No one has reached out to me. I tried reaching out via phone and the provided WhatsApp number and no feedback to date. This is disappointing. Update Feb 18: Another 3 weeks and I’ve tried emailing this unprofessional team who now shifted the blame to the branch (from corporate) with not a single response. Utterly disrespectful, don’t let the green washing of a review feedback make you think that they care about customers. Update: April 2025 Still being ignored by the very same team that pretended to care and comment on this public review. I get occasional feedback, one saying customer service will reach out, another one saying the showroom will reach out, repeat that twice. Nearly 5 months and this company isn’t concerned about mishandling of clients.
