I was so ecstatic to try this place for a while and when my friend had this on her list of places to go whilst we’re in Bath, I was over the moon. They have an array of savoury and sweet bun options as well as an array of teas and other drinks to accompany your bun. Upon recommendation, we went for the French toast, a drizzle of syrup topped with bacon. The bun itself was soft and airy and was quite marvellous to bite into. Quite big as well. Well balanced savoury and sweet proportions. My lapsang tea served as a nice palette cleanser. The experience wouldn’t be complete without being able to buy their conserves and buns at the museum downstairs with a real-life model of how Sally curated her mastery. Lovely time here and would come back here again to try their other options.
The food was lovely! The buns were delicious, good to share with others and have with tea. The museum is free to enter. Granted it was extremely small, but it was great. You can also purchase the buns in these cute little boxes.
I have wanted to come to this restaurant since I was in Taiwan 6 months ago. The restaurant needs to reserve seats for the evening since afternoon, but I didn’t know until I arrived.📝 I didn’t do my previous reservation well and thought I wouldn’t be able to eat. But I was very happy to meet a considerate man who helped arrange it.😍 Made my trip to Bath could be smooth and no regrets. ‼️It is very important that everyone go there after making a reservation. The foods were perfect 🤩 We ordered beef, chicken & mushrooms for mains. The starters soup, salad and garlic butter bread before the meal were all delicious. - We were very full, but still wanted to have some dessert. Seeing that it was late, so we had vanilla ice cream, which tasted perfect. I feel that the cinnamon dessert must also be great. I must try it next time. Thanks a lot for having me here 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
