LexiDisappointing Service & Overpriced Drinks Visited Nook with a friend for a fresh smoothie and juice. I had an issue paying with Xplore and apologized, offering to let others go ahead. Instead, the server rudely insisted she couldn’t serve them as I had already ordered. As I tried to fix the issue, she became visibly impatient and asked me to move aside—despite me having offering to do so a few moments before… Coming from a hospitality background I understand everyone has bad/off days but a polite tone would have made a big difference. The green juice was nice, but the vanilla protein smoothie was disappointing—lumpy dates that wouldn’t pass through the straw and not worth £8.50. Unfortunately, due to the poor attitude of the staff, I won’t be returning or recommending.
MairiThis place rocks! I picked this out for breakfast without knowing that most of their products were vegan and gluten free. I ordered the banana pancakes which I usually don’t do at gf and vegan places because I usually can’t let go of the texture and taste of regular pancakes. But wow!!! I took one bite and actually had to pause to process how amazing it tasted. Every single topping was perfectly balanced and each flavor complimented the next. It actually blew my mind away. I also ordered a chai which was served automatically with oat milk which means I didn’t need to pay extra for it. Just a really great place overall, the vibe was cute, the staff was nice, and the food was great, what more could you ask for?
