Always a delight to spend time here! The space is great, so light and airy, but the food is the standout! The cheese dishes were absolutely delicious (of course) and the service friendly. This place is a firm favourite for us!
We had a lovely visit to the Bath Soft Cheese Café with my sister and mom. Knowing how busy it can get, we booked a table in advance, which turned out to be a good decision as it was very busy when we arrived at 12 o’clock. However, it did quieten down after 1 pm. The menu offered a great selection, and the food was absolutely delicious. The coffee was excellent, and the cake selection was very tempting—definitely hard to resist! Despite a small delay of about 30 minutes for our food, we didn’t mind as we enjoyed chatting and sipping our drinks. The staff were very polite and treated us with respect. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating, including charming little huts that provide a cozy and private space for groups. The farm itself is a delight to explore. You can watch the cows being milked in the milking shed, admire the herd in the fields, visit the duck pond, and see the various breeds of chickens in the chicken run. There are also wonderful walks from the farm, whether down to the river or along a scenic circular route. There’s ample parking, and the whole place is well set up to welcome visitors. As a working farm producing their famous Bath Soft Cheese, it’s clear they’ve put a lot of effort into creating a great experience for their customers. I would definitely recommend a visit!
Regularly come here for a dog walk followed by a spot of breakfast/lunch. Usually really friendly staff and food is reliably nice, there’s also usually a table available outdoors unless in summer where you do have to wait which is a shame but understandable. Coming toward the colder months it is a shame dogs aren’t allowed indoors, although I understand given the amount of dogs and that they’re usually quite muddy, but it is disappointing there are no outdoor heaters either so probably won’t come here during colder spells. Final note, please add eggs royale back to the breakfast menu! 😢
