AmeriPlex Family Dental Care: Keenan Cave, DMD

DO NOT go to this facility. I have a regular dentist but he was not able to get me in today. So I chose this location. I expected a wait since I was a walk-in. No problem with that. The dentist told me he would call in the prescriptions I needed. I left the office at noon. At 2:30pm, my pharmacy hadn't received the scripts. I called 24/7 and asked if they would confirm the scripts were called in. Iwas told he hadn't called in the prescriptions he had lots of them and was getting ready to do so. I patiently waited. I called the pharmacy again. No scripts had been received. I called 24/7 again at 5:45 pm. The person put me on hold said she was checking with the pharmacy. After several minutes she comes back on the line- telling me the pharmacy was checking and would get it filled. At 6:35pm my pharmacy called to let me know the rscripts were called in 10 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing. The earliest I could get them would be tomorrow unless I go to a 24 hour pharmacy. My jaw is so swollen, m eye is almost shut - and am in much pain. It is totally unprofessional 6 hours after my visit the scripts were not called in. Who knows if they would have ever been called in, had I not placed a second call. I will NEVER use this facility again. And hope if you are considering to do so, you will find another location.

I came in with my son due to a dental emergency for a chipped front tooth. Staff was extremely friendly, informative & thorough. They texted me and communicated with early in the morning hours and got me set up for an urgent visit quick. My son was so sad about his front tooth and was worried about returning to school, we walked out of there looking like nothing ever happened. The girl doing my son’s filling talked to him the entire time and just did her thing. Best service I’ve ever received even during an emergency. Would recommended to anyone.

If I could have 0 stars I would have. I will say the dental assistant was super nice. But beyond that never again will recommend this place. I had all my teeth pulled do to my own failure to take care of my teeth. I also must say I was on medicaid. I was definitely treated like a medicaid patient when it come to doing my dentures. I can not wear them the bite is wrong. I was told to lay down during the molding process. Which I have had 3 different dentist tell me that's a no no. Your bite is different when laying down, because your jaw lats different. When I got them I could not even shout my mouth all the way cus the back part of my dentures were to big or tall so the front teeth would not touch. They were crooked as well. I also have a tooth they didn't fully take out. I went back a few times and they would not make a new set because it was paid for by medicaid. So long story short. 6000.00 dollars down the drain. In process of finding some one who will pull this tooth, and make a set of dentures the right way. I'm sure anyone could do better than what this place did.
