It was a very good experience. The physiotherapist, Faanu Jayeoba, always followed up on my exercises and evaluated the progress of my condition until I was fully recovered. All the staff are kind and very professional with the appointments. I also received excellent support with the forms requested at my workplace.
Beginning of April I suffered an injury at work. Booked an appointment at the CBI Adelaide location. Ive been to this location before and had a great experience. Unfortunately it wouldn’t be the same this time around. I booked an appointment with Jayeoba. She went above and beyond, asked questions and took down information and gave me, helpful and useful advice before we even started getting into the stretches and treatment. I felt better after the session no question about it! The secretary is where the problem is. While I was waiting for my appointment, 3:40pm a girl in front of me was booking again and was told she had an appointment at 4pm today. Panic sets in and she states “that’s impossible I have other appointments today” the secretary realized she booked her next weeks appointment for 4pm that day.. 20minutes later. Easy mistake. Once I check in, I give her my benefit card and I cant help notice she is having issues using the photocopy machine. Couldn’t make a copy of my card weird? Starting to see a pattern here. My session is over and I go to pay and at that moment im informed ill be paying the full price of $110. Even tho im covered and have benefits, which Ive used before. She starts rambling on about Jayeoba isn’t registered? I should've been informed that this was the situation and not get ambushed when paying. Now I’m still trying to sort out the situation with my benefits company, even they’re confused why they didn’t do the direct billing and apply my coverage (which I’ve used before at this location). Right after all this happens she tries to book me again for the very next day… so I can pay full price again? I tell her I’ll reschedule another time. The secretary calls me next week and tries to book again, I let her know my benefits company and I are still trying to figure why they didn’t direct bill the session. She starts rambling on ill get my money 2-3 weeks later and all the excuses why. She never said any of this before I booked the appointment in the first place. After her none-sense and excuses I hang up the phone. Im done talking over her trying to ask questions. She calls back and I hangup again twice now. 3rd time she leaves me a voice voicemail still trying to explain and gives me attitude and sass I’ve got the voicemail saved.. This is point where I’ve had enough, Im fed up and not dealing with her anymore, she keeps calling. Im not going to argue or entertain this. She had a lot to say after the fact in the voicemail, shes upset I hung up twice, lady, im being nice and me hanging up the phone is the best option before I say something mean. I clearly don’t want to talk with her…. The session was great, but im not going back. I know I’m covered but the way she went about this and the hassle isn’t worth it. I have good coverage and want to use it. WSIB has approved my claim but I can’t even get my basic coverage here, not even going bother with this lady behind the desk, whatever she is doing, she’s not doing it very well OR booked me in like this on purpose.
Tony, Fatima, and Fanu are absolute superstars at the clinic. These incredible women supported me both emotionally and physically after a brutal accident last year. Fanu consistently goes above and beyond in her care—she’s truly exceptional at what she does. Tony’s professionalism and willingness to help never went unnoticed. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team for helping me get back on my feet and return to normal life. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
