» Customer Experiences:
My frenchie rocky had the best experience there. He’s just a baby and didn’t notice the shot or pill. I’ve taken my cat when she was a kitten and the late milla our princess mastiff. Thank you echo hollow veterinary clinic 🫶🏾
I absolutely *LOVE* The veterinarians here. But that office staff specifically the front desk, do better. You guys are rude as heck and just kind of daft at the interactions with people. I've been coming here for a long time and spent thousands of dollars here. . . Just because I love the doctors. But dang man, maybe invest in some classes in customer service for the that front line. Just calling to get a refill script for one of my dogs IS a hassle let alone if I have to come in and deal with the front desk.
I took another individual in and I am really disappointed in their visit from the check in to check out. The person I'm supporting looks younger than they are but they are a full fledged adult. During check in the receptionist kept looking at me asking questions. I called her out on it and she said she was just looking up. However, i wasn't right in front of her. I was at the other end of the counter so she had to turn her head away from the client to look at me. The vet was nice and spoke gently and overall i like her. Problem was she started addressing an issue that wasn't even the main reason for our visit and was hurrying through so fast that she almost left the room withoutadressing the reason for our visit. After discussing it, she brought in an estimate for care. First problem is the individual thought she had scheduled an appointment when she called last week but it was an urgent care appointment so it's double the cost. The individual says when she talked to them last week they told her the appointment was x amount and scheduled the appointment based on that. They refuse to budge on the amount saying they told her the cost on the phone and she agreed. She ended up taking off a bunch of things she planned on doing because of how much they charge. There was no impaction like we were thinking there might have been. That isn't the fault of the clinic. I don't have the estimate anymore but I'm pretty sure they were charging appx $60 just to trim and shave the cats back end. We removed that and some other things. The anal glands were not impacted and were expressed normally. For that, the office visit and the antibiotic cream she spent $230. I'm not blaming them that this client chose to go there bs a groomer. But I wish we had done that instead. This pricing is highway robbery. After they had already had to cut services just to pay, when at checkout they tried charging her an extra amount. Apparently they added a rabies vaccine on her bill which we never even discussed period so was never even on the estimates. It was just happily added on the back end. It took longer for them to confirm there was no vaccines given then it took to do the analysis gland expression. The individual i was there with has cognitive disabilities, social anxieties and is low income. I'm disappointed in the way I watched them get taken advantage of today. They love their pet an enormous amount and were ready to pay whatever it takes to fix them but your business is ready to take advantage of people caring like that. Sadly, your prices are lower than most other vets too. I will definitely put even more hesitation on taking any of my animals here. I don't like taking them to the vet in general. Animal care is as over priced as human care is and most basic services can be done at home. But for extra fun you get shamed by vets for not providing care from them whereas a human Dr doesn't do it, at least not to the same degree. Which yes, I have experienced being shamed at this clinic as well as other clinics for turning down over priced services. I was told that I'm not a vet and shouldn't try to provide care on my own at home. One last thing is to be aware...... they can schedule you for a regular office visit or they can schedule you for an urgent care appointment. We had an appointment time today and everything. This was not a walk in visit. This was scheduled last week. But they are calling it an urgent care appointment and charging twice as much. I wasn't on the phone call last week so that it's why I didn't dispute this more. But I think that is very misleading to say we can schedule you for an appointment for this much or for this much and it looks like we can get you in on Monday how does that sound. I'm feeling very disappointed in this clinic. They just are all about making money sadly.
