Sarthak did an incredible job with leading the “Make Your Own Pizza” workshop. We had a very fun and engaging experience in making a pizza from end to end. He was able to answer all our questions and support us throughout the whole process. Overall, we walked away with some cool pizza making knowledge and an unforgettable “social” experience together with friends.
I recently attended this sushi-making class, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, I believe there’s room for improvement. First off, a big shoutout to Pranav, our instructor and host — he was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, interactive, and patient. He explained every detail about the sushi-making process, from ingredients to rolling techniques, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. I’d give him a solid 5/5 for his teaching and energy! However, the class content itself felt a bit underwhelming. The description mentioned learning various types of sushi and different fillings, but in reality, we were only taught to make a very basic sushi roll (with the nori sheet on the outside). There was no demonstration or mention of other types like nigiri or maki, and important elements like pickled ginger, scallions were also missing. I would’ve appreciated a bit more variety and depth, especially for the price point. Another major point of feedback — the cleanliness of the space. Unfortunately, the kitchen area didn’t feel very hygienic. There were fruit flies around, and leftover materials from an art class were piled up like a junkyard next to the cooking area, which led to an unpleasant smell. When it comes to cooking classes, especially involving raw food like sushi, cleanliness is absolutely essential. Overall, Pranav made the class worth it, but with improvements in the environment and class structure, this experience could truly shine. Hoping the organisers take this feedback constructively, because this has the potential to be a fantastic offering.
The Ramen workshop is a scam. We paid 1100 per person and all we did was wash some veggies and cut them. The noodles were millet ones and cold. Nothing about the workshop felt like a workshop. The place is not maintained well. Absolute waste of money. The ramen didn’t look like ramen , didn’t taste like it either. All makeshift and trying to scam people. The organisers are neither friendly or homely. It’s run by some college folks trying to earn cheap cash. Anisha and Sarthak - didn’t know anything about ramen.
