The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

Absolutely incredible experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Salmon greeted us at the door and instantly made us feel at home, impressively remembering our names right away – a small but thoughtful touch that truly stood out. A huge shoutout to Mandeep (aka Deadpool), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. He surprised us with an incredible upgrade to our very first villa, making the entire experience even more luxurious than we could have imagined. The chocolates in the room and flower petals on the bed were a great touch! To top it off, Mandeep also arranged a complimentary breakfast for us the morning of our stay – truly going the extra mile! Every aspect of this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were consistently warm and attentive, the pool area was pristine and relaxing, and the all-you-can-eat breakfast spread was absolutely amazing. We also loved the gym and locker rooms – everything you could need for a perfect stay. We can’t recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi, enough. Not a happy camper on this trip or last - have sent significant number of colleagues there way and they have issues on the front desk with interns allocating rooms randomly and have asked to change rooms on last stay and room allocation again was random this time ! Rooms getting dated - balcony had not been serviced for a while - shampoo dispenser broken and illy coffee machine working randomly. For a short business trip need the a 5 star to be in better working order and this place has come short twice now ! The staff are outstanding in the hotel especially Salman at the entrance who remembers you by name and very helpful overall. The breakfast is outstanding one of the best in Mena along with the gym and pool facilities. Clearly a bit of an operations issue here which needs to be fixed before short business stays are returned here as over 2-3 months it has not improved

Had an amazing dinner at the restaurant just now inside The Ritz-Carlton Grand Canal! The food was 11/10, and Chef Jerry at the seafood section cooked everything right in front of us—such a great experience. Prakash from the waitstaff was super accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ve stayed in all the top 5-star hotels in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but nothing beats the service here. This is our 7th stay, and we’re always happy. Staying until the weekend and already looking forward to coming back!
